The Abominable Showmen played the Centre For Life on the 30th October 2008 raising £750 in aid of

St Oswald’s Hospice and The Bubble Foundation .

Just a quick note from us to thank you all for another great night on Thursday.

We had a great time as usual, and judging by the comments received so did everyone else.

We would like to thank (in no particular order)

Graeme Bell and Keith Shepherdson for giving their time for free, and for all their hard work in providing and setting up the gear (and taking it down) and making us sound good!!!
Tim Hines for getting stuck in and helping Graeme and Keith,
Tom Tierney, Mike Singleton and Dave Stevenson for swelling tickets and shirts.
The Centre For Life for letting us have the room free of charge, and to all the staff who organised everything and basically couldn’t do enough for us!!
SSS for paying for the Practice rooms and equipment hire etc.
Dave Stevenson, Mike Singleton and Bernie Wells for providing brilliant guest spots.
